Paul B. Phillips
Paul grew up in and is originally from the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Paul first experienced life in Grey and Bruce County when he was offered an Articling Student Position at Loucks & Loucks in Chesley, Ontario. Paul completed his Articles and then worked as an Associate Lawyer at Loucks & Loucks until February of 2018 when Paul left to pursue a partnership opportunity with Catherine Watson and formed the Law Office of Watson & Phillips.
Prior to law school Paul attended the University of Waterloo where he majored in Legal Studies and Criminology graduating with his Bachelors of Arts degree in 2008. In the fall of 2008 Paul moved to Michigan where he attended law school of Thomas M. Cooley at the University of Western Michigan obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2011. Following law school Paul was a member of the inaugural class of the Ryerson University Law Practice Program.
Paul primarily practices in the areas of Family Law, Corporate/Commercial Law, Civil Litigation, and Wills and Estates. Paul takes a pragmatic approach to the practice of law feels that the approach allows him to best serve the interests of his client no matter which area of law the are requiring assistance in.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys playing hockey in the winter and golf in the summer. On weekends Paul often escapes to his family cottage in Muskoka.
